Is the wife sinful for keeping silent about her husband's mistreatment of her and for not seeking a divorce from him, and how can she rid herself of this injustice, knowing that he has not consummated the marriage with her since their wedding, nor does he spend on her, nor has he entered their home for four years?

If the paternal uncle forces his niece to marry, and this marriage is without her consent or choice, then this marriage is null and void, and she must report the matter to the authorities to annul the marriage. However, if the girl agrees to the contract under duress, the marriage is valid. In all cases, the wife has the right to seek a divorce if the husband despises her, neglects her rights, abandons her without cause, commits forbidden acts and persists in them. If the husband does not respond to the divorce, she can report the matter to the competent authorities to compel him to divorce her or she can request a Khul'. She should seek help from Allah and righteous women to assist her. Regarding sin, it is recommended for a woman in such a situation to free herself from her husband through Khul', and it has been said that this is obligatory, so she would be sinful if she was able to do so but did not.
