Is it permissible to divorce the wife who has successively burned through households [or: family ties] to alienate the husband from his family?

If a wife burns the house and admits to it, she is not trustworthy with her husband, children, or the home.

If her deviation is due to a mental illness, she must be treated, and then retained if she recovers.

However, if her treatment is not possible, or if her deviation is not a result of illness, then divorcing her is not blameworthy and is better than retaining her, due to her bad character and the harm she inflicts upon her husband.
