What is the ruling on the amount of money paid by a job seeker to an entity that coordinates between him and the employer, which is refunded to him if he is not accepted, and from which a deduction is made if he is accepted?

There is no legal impediment to paying money for employment coordination, and this is considered a form of ju'alah (reward/commission). However, it becomes prohibited if it involves infringing upon the rights of others or employing someone unqualified.
