Is it permissible to postpone an ‘Umrah whose cost has been paid by a designated charity, and to use the money to pursue an academic degree to improve income and get married, knowing that the cost of the studies is three times the cost of the ‘Umrah?

'Umrah is obligatory once in a lifetime for those who are able, and it becomes immediately obligatory if the conditions are met (financial and physical ability). It is not permissible to delay it except for a valid excuse. If the available money is needed for an essential matter, such as buying a house, getting married, or completing studies, then there is no blame in delaying 'Umrah until the ability becomes available, because ability is a condition for its obligation.
