Is it permissible to make a model of the Kaaba and place it in a school for display only, without circumambulating it?

It appears that this action is not permissible, because it may lead to forbidden matters. It is not permissible to manufacture a model of the Sacred Kaaba, nor of the dome that is on the grave of the Prophet - may God’s peace and blessings be upon him - nor to trade in them. This is because their manufacture, trade, and circulation lead to prohibitions that must be guarded against, and every door that leads to them must be blocked. It is obligatory to close and prevent this door, because that leads to evils and prohibitions. And God knows best.
