Is it permissible to benefit from what remains of a book after cutting out the pages that discuss divination from it? And how can one combine reading academic materials and scientific books with memorizing the Qur’an, and what is the priority between them? And how can one get rid of Satan's whispers that good deeds are hypocrisy?

There is no harm in reading beneficial books that are free from divination. However, the priority in one's studies should be memorizing the Quran, for it is the best of this world and the hereafter. One can organize their time by dedicating holidays to memorizing the Quran and regular study, while also reviewing what has been memorized. They should seek reward for pursuing knowledge that serves both religious and worldly affairs. As for the whispers of showing off (riyaa'), they can be treated by ignoring them, frequently remembering Allah the Almighty, and seeking refuge from Satan.
