What is the lesson to be learned from all religions descending upon Jerusalem?

"Al-Sham (Greater Syria) and Jerusalem hold immense virtue and blessings, for Allah has blessed the area around Al-Aqsa Mosque, and described the land of Al-Sham as blessed for all worlds. Al-Hasan Al-Basri, Mujahid, Ibn Zayd, and Ibn Jurayj mentioned that Al-Sham is what is meant by this description. Allah chose it as a place of migration for His Khalil (close friend) Ibrahim, and it contains one of the three holy houses. The blessings therein encompass matters of both religion and worldly life. Many Hadith have been narrated concerning its virtues, among them the Prophet's (peace be upon him) sayings: "Hold fast to Al-Sham," and "Indeed, Allah عز وجل has guaranteed Al-Sham and its people to me," and "Verily, when tribulations occur, faith is in Al-Sham," and that it is "the land of gathering and resurrection." The Prophet also enjoined dwelling there, for it is "Allah's chosen land on His earth, to which He gathers the best of His servants."

Al-Sham is the cradle of many religions, but not all of them, as Islam originated in the Hejaz. Allah the Almighty has wisdom in His creation that the intellect cannot fully grasp."
