How is the Quran made easy for remembrance, when understanding its verses requires referring to the interpretations of scholars?

The ease of understanding the Quran is a gift for those who take the means to understand it, study the auxiliary sciences, and seek knowledge from its rightful sources. The ease of the Quran is an honor from Allah for the pious and sincere in contemplating it, while understanding is veiled from those who seek fame and hypocrisy. Ease may be for facilitating memorization and recitation, not necessarily deep understanding. Ease may mean facilitating admonition and taking lessons from the stories of the Quran, not delving into the subtleties of meanings. Ease is for the entire Ummah, such that nothing of the Quran's understanding is hidden from it, while it may be hidden from some individuals.
