Nuh (peace be upon him) was Syriac, and there were ten centuries between him and Adam, and ten centuries between Nuh and Ibrahim.

Shu'ayb (peace be upon him) was an Arab, and he is one of four Arab prophets: Hud, Salih, Shu'ayb, and our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).

Ibrahim and Lut were descendants of Sam, son of Nuh.
