Is it permissible for a woman who has performed the Hajj to disobey her husband and work cleaning an Italian restaurant suspected of serving alcohol and pork, under pressure from her family and her threat to divorce her husband?

It is not permissible for a woman to work outside her home without her husband's permission. How much more so if the work is forbidden, such as selling pork and alcohol? It is not permissible for her to work in this restaurant even if her husband and family order her to do so, because there is no obedience to a created being in disobedience to the Creator. She must fear Allah and obey her husband, for the Italian courts will be of no benefit to her against the torment of Allah. The right of the husband and obedience to him takes precedence over the right of the parents.
