What is the description of Hajj Al-Mufrid?

Ifrad in Hajj means that the pilgrim enters into ihram for Hajj only. It involves seven stages:

1. Tawaf and Sa'i: It begins with Tawaf al-Qudum (Arrival Tawaf) – which is a Sunnah – with ramal (brisk pace) and idtiba' (uncovering the right shoulder). Then, the pilgrim performs two rak'ahs of prayer and immediately performs Sa'i between Safa and Marwah, or he may delay it. 2. Spending the night in Mina: The pilgrim remains in ihram until the eighth day of Dhu al-Hijjah. On this day, he proceeds to Mina and spends the night there, performing the five prayers shortened. 3. Standing at Arafat and Muzdalifah: On the ninth day, after sunrise, the pilgrim proceeds to Arafat, descends to Namira, and performs Dhuhr and Asr prayers combined (jama' taqdim). He stands at Arafat until sunset, then departs to Muzdalifah and spends the night there. After Fajr prayer, he stands and supplicates until dawn breaks. 4. Acts of Yawm al-Nahr (Day of Sacrifice): The pilgrim proceeds to Mina before sunrise, stones Jamrat al-Aqaba with seven pebbles, then slaughters the sacrificial animal if he has one (it is not obligatory for the mufrid). Then he shaves or shortens his hair (shaving is preferable), then takes a ghusl (ritual bath) and applies perfume. 5. Tawaf al-Ifadah and Sa'i: He descends to Makkah to perform Tawaf al-Ifadah – which is a pillar – then performs Sa'i if he had not done it before. 6. Stoning the Jamarat during the Days of Tashriq: He returns to Mina and spends the nights of the eleventh and twelfth there for those who wish to depart early, and the night of the thirteenth for those who delay. He stones the three Jamarat after zawal (midday) each day, starting with the Minor, then the Middle, then al-Aqaba. 7. Tawaf al-Wada' (Farewell Tawaf): When the days in Mina are over and he returns to Makkah, and wishes to depart, he must perform Tawaf al-Wada'.
