Is it permissible for someone who owes 700,0 Egyptian pounds (equivalent to 100,0 US dollars) to perform Hajj, knowing that their fixed assets exceed the value of the debt?

A person's debt does not waive their obligation to perform Hajj if they possess enough wealth to repay their debt. The type of debt that waives the obligation of Hajj is one for which the debtor cannot find the means to repay. Furthermore, borrowing from a usurious bank is Islamically forbidden and is considered one of the major sins. Allah Almighty says: "O you who have believed, fear Allah and give up what remains [due to you] of usury, if you should be believers. And if you do not, then be informed of a war [against you] from Allah and His Messenger. But if you repent, you may have your principal – [thus] you do no wrong, nor are you wronged." And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed the one who consumes Riba, the one who feeds it, its scribe, and its two witnesses.
