The answer

The Day of the Greatest Hajj (Yawm al-Hajj al-Akbar) is the Day of Sacrifice (Yawm al-Nahr). It is also said that the Greatest Hajj is the Hajj itself, to distinguish it from 'Umrah, which is the Lesser Hajj. There is no validity to the popular belief among common people that if the Day of 'Arafah falls on a Friday, the Hajj becomes a "Greater Hajj."
