The Permanent Committee for Scholarly Research and Ifta issued a fatwa invalidating the authenticity of a widely circulated supplication that claims great virtue. The Committee emphasized the necessity of destroying these publications and warning against them, and of seeking knowledge about religious matters from people of knowledge.
