What is the best time to recite Surat Al-Baqarah and to recite the Holy Qur’an in general, and is there any objection to reciting two surahs in one day?

It is desirable to frequently recite the Quran in general, both day and night, and there is no specific time for Surah Al-Baqarah. The superiority of night recitation is that it is further from showing off and more conducive to humility, and this applies to Al-Baqarah and other surahs. Allah Almighty said: (Among the People of the Scripture is a community standing [for the truth], reciting the verses of Allah during periods of the night and prostrating.) [Aal-Imran: 113]. The best times of the night are its last third, then night recitation, then dawn recitation, then morning, then the rest of the day. There is no harm in reciting two surahs daily, or more or less. However, forty days should not pass without completing the recitation of the Holy Quran for one who has no valid excuse.
