Is there a verse in the Holy Quran, and not in the noble hadiths, that calls for love like the verses in the Gospel: (Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you) and (Do not resist an evil person; but whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also)?

A Muslim must pardon and forgive, and respond to evil with good, as stated in the Holy Quran, but this does not mean accepting humiliation or disgrace. Islam rejects submission to oppressors and urges patience and seeking reward from Allah. Forgiveness is for the sake of reward and recompense, not out of weakness, and it is among the matters of firm resolve. The Quran calls for repelling evil with good to reconcile hearts and remove enmity. Its approach is balanced, allowing the wronged to obtain their right without oppression or subservience, and it favors forgiveness over self-vindication.
