How can high resolve be achieved, how can one escape the snares of Satan, and worship Allah in the most perfect way without exhausting oneself?

The most important requirements for high resolve and salvation from Satan are seeking Allah's help and refuge in Him.

The Wise Lawgiver has urged us to cultivate high resolve, and the Companions used to seek out the best deeds, for "Allah loves noble character and dislikes its baser forms."

Among the things that help acquire high resolve is frequently reflecting on the stories of people of high resolve among the predecessors, which strengthens determination and patience, along with seeking refuge in Allah from laziness.

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than a weak believer, and in each there is good. Strive for what benefits you, seek Allah's help, and do not be helpless."

And among his supplications, peace and blessings be upon him, was: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from inability, laziness, cowardice, and old age; and I seek refuge in You from the trials of life and death; and I seek refuge in You from the torment of the grave."
