Who are the family of Yasin mentioned in Surat As-Saffat, verse (130), and does it refer to the Prophet Elijah and his followers?

The exegetes differed regarding the meaning of "Ilyasin" in the verse: "Peace be upon Ilyasin." Some of them hold that it means "Ilyas" with the addition of the nun, and their argument is that Allah sends peace upon the Prophet himself, not upon his family. As for those who read it by separating "Aal" (family), they interpreted it to mean "Peace be upon the family of Muhammad," because "Yasin" is one of the names of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, or "Peace be upon the family of Elias," meaning his followers and those who adhere to his religion. The reason for this difference is the variation in readings.
