Is it permissible to carry Qur'anic verses in a wallet in one's pocket and sometimes enter the bathroom with them?
It is forbidden to enter the restroom with a Mus'haf (copy of the Qur’an) or part of it, except out of necessity. Carrying Qur’anic verses for the purpose of reading or memorizing them is permissible, but they should not be torn out from the Mus'haf. As for carrying them for blessings, warding off the evil eye, and similar purposes, there is a difference of opinion on this, and the preponderant view is that it is impermissible.
