Is it obligatory to obey the mother in her refusal for one to marry a girl due to dreams or social disparities, especially with the father's rejection of a veiled wife, while the son sees good in the girl, citing His, the Almighty's, saying: "But do not obey them if they endeavor to make you associate with Me that of which you have no knowledge. And accompany them in [this] world with appropriate kindness"?

If your parents have agreed to your marriage to this woman, then their hesitation due to her religiosity or hijab does not matter. Your family should be a support for you in leaving the non-hijabi woman, for the hijab is an obligation to protect the woman, and a Muslim is submissive to Allah's command and law. There is no blame upon you in completing the marriage by continuing to persuade and satisfy your parents, and offering them advice with wisdom, especially your mother regarding her religion.
