Is continuous marital strife, constant bickering, and the situation escalating to the point where the husband is disrespected in front of the children, considered a sufficient reason to avoid having more children with the wife, even though she prays and fasts?

Allah has legislated marital rights based on strength and uprightness, and has made it obligatory for each party to fulfill them, even in separation, as He says: (Then retention with honor or a release with kindness), and His saying: (And do not forget the favor between you). Marital life is based on affection, mercy, good companionship, and the fulfillment of rights. In cases of disagreement, Islam recommends patience, endurance, and addressing the causes of animosity, as Allah says: (And live with them in kindness. For if you dislike them - perhaps you dislike a thing and Allah makes therein much good), and as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "No believing man should hate a believing woman; if he dislikes one of her characteristics, he will be pleased with another." Therefore, it is advised to counsel the patient wife, endure harm, and address it with wisdom, and for the husband to review himself to avoid the causes of problems, and that problems should not be a reason to stop procreating except through coitus interruptus and the wife's consent.
