Is reliance on God in self-employment (such as trade or farming) greater than reliance on Him in working as an employee in a private company, taking into account the temptations that private company employees are exposed to, such as humiliation from the manager or being ordered to commit a sin?

Trade and agriculture are among the best professions. The Muhajirun were traders, and the Ansar were farmers. Both professions encourage greater reliance on God than wage-earning jobs. The trader and the farmer depend on God for the success of their work and frequently supplicate, while observing honesty and avoiding deceit. It must be noted that an employee is not permitted to obey their manager or employer in anything that is forbidden, based on the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) saying: "There is no obedience to a creature in disobedience to the Creator."
