Is what happened to me—being accused of fraud and swindling by my relatives, their fining me as compensation for their losses, and the tarnishing of my reputation—a punishment from Allah or a trial?

This world is a realm of trial, serving as expiation for sins, elevation of ranks, and a test for believers, or as punishment for their transgressions. The wronged person is permitted to supplicate against the oppressor to the extent of the injustice, though forgiveness is superior. Contemplating suicide indicates a deficiency in intellect and weakness in faith, and it is a grave sin. It does not solve problems but rather leads to torment in the grave and the fire of Hell. Patience is recommended, along with frequent supplication, seeking forgiveness, and adherence to obedience; for whoever fears Allah, He will make a way out for him and provide for him from where he does not expect.
