Is suicide the only solution for someone who suffers from severe psychological pain and a loss of self-confidence and trust in others, and fears falling into sin, especially given the inability to marry?

It is recommended to seek refuge in Allah through supplication, patience, and abundant remembrance of Him, and to search for righteous company while avoiding bad companions. One should also be open with parents about their feelings, treat obsessive-compulsive disorder if present, and consider marriage as a solution, as it is a cause for sustenance and chastity. If marriage is not possible, one must fear Allah, be patient, and avoid zina (fornication/adultery); masturbation is permissible only out of extreme necessity when there is fear of falling into zina. Suicide is strictly warned against, as it leads to eternal misery.
