The question

How can a non-Muslim young man who believes in God be convinced that the Quran is the word of Allah and that Muhammad is His Messenger? And is marrying him, knowing that he does not object to the wife remaining on her religion, considered a grave sin, especially in a society where Muslims are few?

The answer

The proofs that the Qur’an is the word of Allah and not authored by humans are evident in its miraculousness and the challenge posed to humankind and jinn to produce its like, in its being free from contradiction and discrepancy, in Allah's undertaking to preserve it from any distortion, and in its containing legislations, rulings, and unseen stories that no human could have brought forth, such as the descriptions of the stages of embryonic development and the details of the seas. Furthermore, its reproach of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in some of its verses is a clear sign that it is not from his own words, for if it were, he would have concealed them.
