Does blood become due from one who insulted and swore at his wife while in the state of ihram for Umrah, and did not complete its rites? And if so, should he slaughter before or after assuming ihram?

Whoever enters into ihram (definition) for Umrah (definition) must complete it, based on the Almighty's saying: "And complete the Hajj and Umrah for Allah." One cannot exit the ritual except by completing it, or by performing tahallul (exiting ihram) if a condition was stipulated and met, or by being prevented (hasr). If you did not complete the Umrah, you are still in a state of ihram. You must therefore avoid the prohibitions of ihram and return to Makkah to complete your Umrah without needing a new ihram, as you remain in your original state of ihram. You are obligated to repent to Allah for the prohibitions of ihram you committed, especially the abusive language, which is considered wickedness (fusuq), and its ugliness is intensified if it occurred within the Sacred Precinct (Haram (definition)) while in ihram.
