The answer

Son of Adam is a sinner, and the best of sinners are those who repent. A believer should not underestimate sin nor intentionally commit it; rather, one must be wary of sins. If one falls into sin, the door of repentance is open, and one must seek forgiveness and repent without delay. One should also follow bad deeds with good ones, as Allah Almighty says: (Indeed, good deeds do away with ill deeds). Sins are of two types: minor sins are expiated by acts of worship such as the five daily prayers, Friday prayer, , steps to the mosques, and charities. As for major sins, they require a complete repentance that fulfills its conditions: regret, resolve not to return to it, and abandonment of the sin.
