Does listening to Ayat al-Kursi and the morning and evening adhkar suffice over reciting them orally?

Reciting the Quran is a great act of worship, and listening to it and pondering its meanings contains immense good. It has been authenticated that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, loved to hear it recited by others. Listening to Quran recitation from a recording carries great reward, but it does not suffice for reciting it oneself. A person’s own recitation of the Quran is better and carries greater reward, because it involves both action and listening simultaneously. However, listening might sometimes be better if it leads to greater appreciation and deeper contemplation for the heart. Listening to dhikr (remembrance of Allah) from a recording does not suffice for reciting them oneself.
