What is the meaning of my two Hadiths: "I was given the Seven Long Ones in place of the Torah, and I was given the Hundred-Verse Surahs in place of the Injil, and I was given the Mathani in place of the Zabur, and I was favored with the Mufassal," and "Whoever takes the first seven is a great scholar"? And what is meant by "in place of" and "takes" in these two Hadiths?

The place of the Torah, meaning what substitutes for it [in the Quran], and the Seven Long Surahs are from Al-Baqarah to At-Tawbah (definition). The Mi'un (Centuries) are from Surah (definition) Yunus to Al-Hujurat or to (Qaf). The Mathani (Repeated Ones) are Al-Fatihah or every surah that is less than the Mi'un. The Mufassal (Detailed) Surahs are from Al-Hujurat to An-Nas. And "whoever takes the Seven" means whoever memorizes them, acts upon them, and makes their recitation a regular litany for himself, or whoever consistently recites them, reflects upon their meanings, and acts upon their contents. "He is a habr" means he is a scholar, or "he is khair" means that in taking them there is much goodness and a great reward.
