Do the noble verse (And We made from water every living thing; then will they not believe?) contradict the noble verse (And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire)?

The origin of the creation of jinn is from smokeless fire (nār al-samūm) or a mixture of fire (mārij min nār), as indicated by Quranic verses and Hadith. As for the Almighty’s saying: (And We made from water every living thing) [Al-Anbiya/30], it does not contradict the creation of jinn from fire, and that is for several reasons: 1. The context of the verse is to challenge the polytheists with tangible signs in the manifest world (ʿālam al-shahādah), while jinn and angels belong to the unseen world (ʿālam al-ghayb). 2. General formulations in the Arabic language do not always imply absolute universality; they may be specific. Angels were created from light, not from water, and likewise, the wind mentioned in the Qur’an did not destroy everything. 3. The original creation of jinn was from fire, but their procreation might be through sexual reproduction via seminal fluid (māʾ al-nuṭfah), just as is the case with human procreation after the creation of Adam from clay. Some scholars have interpreted "water" in the verse as seminal fluid or as the water upon which life depends.

These misconceptions stem from ignorance of the Arabic language and the objectives of discrediting the Quran, which challenged the Arabs with its eloquence, and they found no contradiction in it.
