The answer

The conditions for leading the Friday prayer (Jumu'ah) are the same as those for leading congregational prayers, with some differences. A traveler is not permitted to lead the people in the Friday prayer unless he is a ruler (sultan) or his deputy. Freedom is a condition for the Imam of Jumu'ah according to Ahmad and Malik, whereas Al-Shafi'i and Abu Hanifa permitted it for both the traveler and the slave. As for praying in a distant mosque, there is no harm in it for a valid reason, such as the large number of congregants.
