If Muslims devote all their time and deeds to what benefits them in the afterlife, how will they contribute to what benefits civilization and humanity, such as technology, science, and invention?

Islam is a comprehensive religion that organizes all aspects of life, and it does not contain monasticism. Rather, it calls for working in this world for the sake of the Hereafter. Muslims have shown great civilizational and scientific progress when they adhered to their religion, and Western thinkers have praised the contributions of Islamic civilization in the fields of science and art. Although Islam warns against being preoccupied with this world to the detriment of religion, it encourages the cultivation of the earth and righteous deeds that benefit the individual and society, while balancing the demands of this world and the Hereafter.
