How do we respond to disbelievers who mock polygyny?

Islam permits polygyny with legitimate conditions, due to the wisdom and benefits it holds for society, such as addressing the surplus number of women and certain reproductive issues, and avoiding deprivation and vice. Previous divine laws affirmed polygyny, and it was present among past nations. Some fair-minded non-Muslims have acknowledged its wisdom, while bigots who accept adultery and perversion reject it. Some Muslims have been intellectually influenced by this mindset, even though the books of previous prophets mention their multiple wives. Polygyny is legally permissible, naturally acceptable, and necessitated by certain social circumstances.
