What is the ruling on a man having anal intercourse with his wife, and what is the evidence if it is forbidden, taking into account Allah Almighty's saying: {Your wives are a place of cultivation for you, so come to your cultivation however you wish and put forth [something good] for yourselves. And fear Allah and know that you will meet Him. And give good tidings to the believers}?

Approaching women in their anuses is abhorrent and forbidden. There is no contradiction between this and the verse: "Your women are a tilth for you, so approach your tilth however you will." The "tilth" referred to is the place of childbearing. Ibn Abbas interpreted "tilth" as the place of childbearing, and that intercourse can be performed as one wishes, from the front or the back, within the same orifice, while avoiding the anus and menstruation.
