How should the questioner act, whose situation has become difficult with his father, who he has become accustomed to relying on for everything, and he experiences frustration and insults from him, and his salary is not enough for his family's livelihood, and he fears being disobedient to his father if he leaves working with him to look for another independent job, knowing that he has found an opportunity as a transport driver, which he considers honorable, but his father and brothers mock it?

It is from the perfection of faith to be content with what Allah has allotted in worldly matters, and not to look at those who have been favored above one. Filial piety is a great act of worship. It is not an act of disobedience to leave a job with one's father to seek something better, as long as beneficence towards him continues, especially if the family is in need of it. Fear of the future is a sign of weak reliance on Allah. The strong believer does not carry the worries of tomorrow; rather, he should take the necessary means while seeking Allah's help and not being incapable. Working as a driver is not a demeaning profession, and a person's earnings from the labor of his hands are among the purest earnings. The advice is to try and convince your father to raise the salary; otherwise, there is no harm in working as a driver to improve your living situation, while observing the satisfaction of your family and environment, and warding off fear of the future through good reliance on Allah.
