What is the authenticity of the hadiths narrated concerning the shedding of blood in Mina during Hajj upon the advent of the Awaited Mahdi, including the hadith: "In Dhul-Qa'dah, the tribes will contend and scatter, and the pilgrims will be plundered, and there will be a massacre in Mina, in which the slain will be many, and blood will flow until their blood flows over the Aqaba of the Jamra, and until their leader (the Mahdi) flees and comes between the Rukn and the Maqam, where he will be sworn allegiance to unwillingly, and it will be said to him: 'If you refuse, we shall strike your neck,' and he will be sworn allegiance to by the number of the people of Badr, with whom the dweller of the heavens and the dweller of the earth are pleased"?

The narrations regarding the shedding of blood in Mina or at the Jamrat al-Aqaba during the days of the Mahdi are not authentic. They have come through two channels:

1. The first channel: From Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-Aas: The first narration: Transmitted by Nu'aym ibn Hammad and al-Hakim. Its chain of narration is fabricated due to "Abu Yusuf al-Maqdisi," who is accused of fabrication. The second narration: Transmitted by Nu'aym ibn Hammad and al-Hakim. Its chain of narration is severely flawed and invalid due to "Abu Yusuf al-Maqdisi" and "Muhammad ibn Ubaydullah al-Arzami," who is abandoned [as a narrator]. Some scholars have ruled it to be fabricated. The third narration: Transmitted by Nu'aym ibn Hammad. Its chain of narration is weak due to the presence of "Ata' ibn Zuhayr," who is unknown, and "Zuhayr ibn al-Asbagh," who is unknown, in addition to the weakness of Nu'aym ibn Hammad himself.

2. The second channel: From Shahr ibn Hawshab: Transmitted by al-Dani. This hadith is fabricated due to "Anbasah ibn Abd al-Rahman al-Qurashi," who is accused of lying and fabricating hadith.

From the above, it becomes clear that nothing authentic exists concerning this matter.
