A person afflicted with سلس ( سلس البول - urinary incontinence, سلس الريح - flatulence incontinence, سلس المذي - continuous discharge of prostatic fluid, سلس الودي - continuous discharge of pre-seminal fluid, سلس الغائط - fecal incontinence) must perform ablution for every prayer. Placing a patch over the exit point does not prevent the obligation of ablution because it does not prevent the discharge of prostatic fluid (madhy), but rather prevents its spread onto clothing. However, if the patch prevents the discharge from exiting the tip of the penis, so that it remains inside the penis, then ablution is not invalidated by that.
