The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, considered it among the answered prayers and prohibited a parent from supplicating against their child. The grandmother's prayer is wrong, and she must repent for it. Nevertheless, "no soul will bear the burden of another." You must pray for yourselves for righteousness and steadfastness, and do not fall short in honoring your grandmother, no matter what she does.
