Does reading Surat Al-Baqarah daily completely eliminate the evil eye, sorcery, or jinn possession, and does the appearance of bruises after reading it indicate affliction by the evil eye?

Ruqyah with the Quran—especially Surah Al-Baqarah—is beneficial, by Allah's will. It expels Satan and prevents the effect of magic. This is indicated by the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Recite Surah Al-Baqarah, for taking it is a blessing, and leaving it is regret, and the Batalah (sorcerers) cannot withstand it." (Narrated by Muslim). "Al-Batalah" refers to sorcerers. And in the Hadith: "Indeed, Satan flees from the house in which Surah Al-Baqarah is recited." (Narrated by Muslim). As for the appearance of bruises being an indication of being afflicted by the evil eye, we do not know of anything concerning that.
