The sister must repent and cease preventing her husband from entering his apartment, as this is forbidden insubordination (nushooz). If she wishes to separate, she must follow legitimate Sharia procedures such as khul' (divorce initiated by the wife) or talaq (divorce initiated by the husband). The husband is not legally obligated to provide for his insubordinate wife. It is advisable for him to divorce her. However, child support does not cease unless the children have sufficient wealth or are capable of earning. The father must repent from bearing false witness, and both parents must condemn their daughter's insubordination and her suspicious relationship. The parents are not obligated to financially support their sister's children if their affluent father is present, nor are they obligated to support the sister if her salary suffices her. It is permissible to lend her money or provide for her if it does not encourage her insubordination. Both spouses bear the sin of neglecting their children's upbringing, but they do not bear the sin of their children's future transgressions. It is not permissible for the parents to financially favor the sister with provisions or loans over their other children, except in cases where providing for her is obligatory.
