What are the times for the prayers mentioned in the verse, "And establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of night. Indeed, good deeds do away with evil deeds," which expiate sins, and is it a condition that they be on the same day?

There is no specific prayer for sin. The meaning of the Almighty's saying: "And establish prayer at the two ends of the day and in the early hours of the night" has several interpretations. Among them are: that the two ends of the day are the Fajr (dawn), Dhuhr (noon), and Asr (afternoon) prayers, or Fajr and Asr, and "in the early hours of the night" means Maghrib (sunset) and Isha (night) prayers. The most preponderant opinion is that the first end is Fajr, and the second end is Maghrib, and Isha is "in the early hours of the night." As for "Indeed, good deeds do away with evil deeds," the good deeds referred to are the five daily prayers, or tasbeeh (glorification), tahleel (affirmation of God's oneness), and takbeer (magnification of God). Sin is also expiated by performing ablution, prayer, and then seeking forgiveness.
