A wife's obedience to her husband is obligatory in what is good and reasonable. Therefore, you must obey your husband by staying in his home during childbirth. Your mother is not obligated to care for you, but your husband is obligated to provide someone to care for you. If your mother cannot come, and your husband cannot provide someone to care for you, and you are unable to care for yourself, then it is permissible for you to go to your mother's house for her to care for you. Spouses should interact with each other in kindness, patience, and overlooking faults.
