What is the legitimate Islamic ruling and what are the possible solutions for a 32-year-old man who wishes to marry to protect his chastity, while his parents prevent him from doing so for illegitimate reasons, such as their perception of his young age, their insistence on choosing his wife, or their condition that she be employed, whereas he desires a homemaker, knowing that his mother has started to shun him after he brought up the matter of marriage, and that he practices masturbation and occasionally commits fornication?

Adultery is one of the most heinous sins. Repentance is obligatory for it and for masturbation. This repentance involves abstaining from the act, feeling remorse, and resolving not to return to it, while also concealing one's sin. Marriage is obligatory for anyone who fears falling into adultery if they are capable, and there is no obedience to parents in delaying it at that time. If you are not capable, then you must be patient and chaste by frequently fasting, guarding your hearing and sight, staying away from temptations, avoiding provocations, keeping yourself busy, seeking help from Allah, and frequently engaging in remembrance (dhikr) and supplication (du'a).
