What is the ruling on a wife leaving her family's home and working in another city without her husband's permission, and is it permissible for her family to encourage her to do so?

A married woman's husband has a greater claim over her than her parents, and obedience to him takes precedence. Therefore, she should not go out to work or leave the house except with his permission, unless she stipulated that before the marriage contract. If she disobeys, she becomes rebellious (nashiz) and forfeits her right to maintenance, and the husband has the right to discipline her. As for before consummation, her affair is with her guardian. She is permitted to go out to work without his permission if he refrains from spending on her.
