Is the wife entitled to stay at her family's home and refuse to return to her husband, despite her repeated outings without his knowledge, her refusal to leave her job, and her driving a car despite his objection?

A woman is not permitted to leave her husband's home except out of necessity. If a wife leaves her home and refuses to return without a valid reason, she is considered disobedient (nashiz) and forfeits her right to maintenance (nafaqah). If the wife stipulated working in the marriage contract, then she has the right to do so. However, the husband has the right to demand his due and not be lenient in this regard. A woman has the right to dispose of her private property without her husband's permission.
