Is a Muslim sinful for not mastering the science of Tajwid, or for reciting a Surah from its middle without beginning it, or for reading the Qur’an with the eyes without moving the tongue, and what is his duty in that regard?

A Muslim must repel satanic whispers (waswas) and turn his mind away from them, seeking refuge in Allah from them. He should also focus on the Quran, reciting it, contemplating its meanings, and acting upon its teachings. Whoever can read should do so extensively, and whoever cannot should try to correct their recitation and frequently look at the Mushaf (Quranic text) with contemplation. There is no harm in looking without moving the tongue, but it is not considered recitation unless the tongue and lips are moved. There is no harm in reciting a surah or part of it without reciting what precedes or follows it.
