What should I do for God to be pleased with me, reunite me with my family, and grant my heart peace through marriage and stability, knowing that I am trying to adhere to religious teachings after a period of non-observance, and my fiancé has started to distance himself from me after this change, and I find it difficult to return to my family in my home country due to current circumstances?

You must thank Allah for the blessing of steadfastness, and be keen on beneficial knowledge, righteous deeds, and good companionship. A righteous husband is one of the greatest aids in matters of religion. If a young man turns away from marriage, do not despair, for it might be a diversion from evil, so turn to Allah with supplication. The distress or the young man's turning away might be a trial, not a punishment. The believer is tried so that Allah may distinguish the truthful and the patient. A trial might also be a sign of Allah's pleasure. There is no harm for a woman to reside in a country without a mahram if she feels safe. The mahram is a condition for travel, not for residence.
