What are the manners of a student of knowledge that are recommended to be adopted?

Seeking knowledge has etiquettes, among them: patience with the hardship of seeking, sincerity of intention for the sake of Allah, acting upon the knowledge, continuous awareness of Allah, making the most of time, being careful not to preoccupy oneself with the disagreements of scholars at the beginning of seeking, precision and mastery, studying books, choosing a righteous companion, and showing respect to the teacher.
