Is it permissible to defend one's mother if the father is unjust, and why do lectures focus on the rights of fathers while neglecting the rights of children?

It is a Muslim's right upon another Muslim to prevent injustice. It is permissible to defend an oppressed mother and to repel the father's injustice against her. The two Revelations (Qur’an and Sunnah) frequently discuss the prohibition of children's disobedience to parents, without prohibiting parents' disobedience to children. This is because a parent's kindness to their child is an innate disposition practiced by believers and non-believers alike. Thus, the Shari'ah focused on mentioning what goes against one's natural inclination. Perhaps because the parents' benevolence towards their children is consistent, there isn't an abundance of texts about it. This might be the reason why preachers focus on the disobedience of children rather than that of parents.
