How sound is the hadith "Ali is the divider of the Fire," which is widespread among the Rafidah, and in which they rely on the books of Ahl al-Sunnah, and did Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal and Ibn Qutaybah actually authenticate it or not weaken it?

The virtues of the Commander of the Faithful, Ali ibn Abi Talib, are many, but the hadith "I am the divider of the Fire" is weak. The Imams have affirmed its weakness, among them Al-A'mash, who narrated it from Musa ibn Tarif. Al-Albani commented that it is fabricated. Furthermore, Imam Ahmad did not authenticate the hadith; rather, he interpreted it assuming its authenticity. Its meaning then would be that none but a believer loves Ali, and none but a hypocrite hates him. The conclusion is that the hadith is fabricated, and Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, is far above needing such falsehoods. Indeed, great virtues have been established for him; he is the fourth of the Rightly Guided Caliphs, and every Muslim must love him.
